The Challenge
Wild Alaskan needed a high performance shipping solution that would assure its customers’ orders arrived fully frozen and helped eliminate plastic waste. After an extensive search, the Wild Alaskan team chose Green Cell Foam™, which is TUV home and industrial certified compostable, and which can even dissolve down the drain. Staying away from Styrofoam™ from the very start and utilizing Green Cell Foam was an easy decision.
The Action
The TemperPack team designed and tested custom shippers using Green Cell Foam, the only home-compostable, drain-safe, high-performance alternative to EPS. Today, the line of shippers includes two different sizes for their ongoing subscription business with a third size in development.

Results
The Green Cell Foam shippers were tested in TemperPack's ISTA certified thermal transport lab and have protected millions of real-world shipments.
Through COVID and beyond, TemperPack has worked with Wild Alaskan to maintain steady supply across their nationwide fulfillment network.
Since 2019, Wild Alaskan has reduced plastic waste, keeping over 12 Olympic swimming pools' worth of EPS from entering the environment.
