The Challenge
A southern university’s healthcare network is there for patients in life’s critical moments. According to U.S. News & World Report, it is the best regional hospital with 23 areas of care. The hospital wanted to offer a first-class experience with their mail order prescriptions and recognized that their existing Styrofoam™ shippers were an operational risk and a burden to patients. They needed a proven, easy-to-deploy solution.
The Action
The University chose TemperPack’s pre-qualified Green Cell Foam™ shippers, a turnkey solution with the packaging essentials needed to protect temperature sensitive medications. The flexible sizes and shipping configurations provide a smooth transition from EPS.

Results
The pre-qualified shippers are equipped with individualized URAC friendly test reports to ease the qualification and compliance process.
The shippers include insulation, boxes and sweatless gels, all in one pallet. They come kitted or flat-packed.
Patients now don’t have to mess with EPS. Since making the switch, the hospital has prevented over five 25-meter swimming pools worth of EPS from going to landfill.
