Along with his co-founders, James was featured in Inc’s 2019 “30 under 30” list, and he has been interviewed by NPR for his views on the recycling industry and China’s ban on recycled materials from the US.

Prior to starting TemperPack, McGoff worked on the advanced materials analysis team at Boeing Defense, Space & Security, where he evaluated materials for use in product applications. McGoff studied at McGill University in Montreal, and holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Materials Engineering. Originally from Maryland, McGoff now resides in Richmond, Virginia where he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. When not thinking about business, McGoff enjoys composing music and exploring Richmond’s beer scene.
