Job Description:

The adoption and integration of technology and information systems into TemperPack’s daily operations has increased significantly over the past year. TemperPack is seeking an analytical and inquisitive “systems thinker” to join the team as Senior Warehouse Management System Analyst. In this role, you will have functional and technical responsibility for implementation, projects, testing, and support of warehouse management systems across the enterprise. The Sr. Warehouse Management System Analyst will be working closely with the business, vendors, cross functional teams on small to medium project and support functions. They will formulate and participate in new scope & requirements, break-fix work, testing, and support activities to meet the business needs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Functional, Technical, Lead, and SME responsibility for Produmex WMS for SAP B1
  • Functional responsibility for integration into SAP B1 host systems and integration with factory/warehouse data collection systems
  • Lead key business partners and cross functional areas during entire lifecycle of the project
  • Provide and lead functional support and troubleshooting for production issues for 24×7 operations
  • Lead Outage Calls and Root Cause Analysis
  • Collaborate with various business units to eliminate data redundancy and drive towards a “single source of truth”
  • Manage WMS related projects from requirements gathering through delivery Ensure adequate testing is completed before implementing configuration changes
  • Track and resolve all systems/integration related support issues in TemperPack’s helpdesk
  • Maintain thorough documentation of WMS (including organization specific customizations)
  • Other systems/IT related tasks as needed
  • Other duties as necessitated by the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to devise novel functional solutions to overcome adoption of technical systems/processes by the manufacturing operation

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years hands on experience (functional and technical) with an enterprise scale WMS system as functional and/or support analyst.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management systems, Pick to Voice, and/or Pick/Put to Light Systems desired.
  • Experience with integration between WMS to other host systems preferably SAP B1
  • Experience with WMS solutions in manufacturing or high-volume industries.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting of warehouse management systems and/or material handling systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
