Job Description:

TemperPack is seeking a well-rounded technical and detail oriented individual to join the team and provide Information Technology support at our Las Vegas, NV facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to become involved in multiple responsibilities within IT and across related departments. This position will provide both local and remote technical support for individual end users and computer systems, wide area network and virtual private network solutions, and both development and production corporate cloud environments. A strong candidate for this position will have the ability to troubleshoot on the fly, be communicative with all levels of users within the organization, and work well in a fast-paced manufacturing-oriented environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as primary contact to end users submitting technical assistance requests via helpdesk, walk up, phone, and email
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues affecting both local and remote users
  • Perform repeatable tasks such as user on/off boarding, account creation/updates, and hardware/software deployments in a timely manner
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalog for software installation, hardware configuration, and problem troubleshooting and solutions

  • Proactively collaborate, design, and implement IT process improvements regarding standard operating and security procedures
  • Effectively monitor, manage, and maintain MES, WMS, and ERP cloud environments with security, backup, and disaster recovery focuses
  • Partner with Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance for cross-departmental initiatives and projects
  • Other duties as necessitated by the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Moderate desktop and enterprise hardware/software setup and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, services, and system architectures
  • Office 365 and Azure Active Directory maintenance and administration
  • ITSM/ITIL based helpdesk system practices, procedures, and documentation

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and skills will be considered
  • Technical Certifications (or equivalent combination of experience and skills) preferred
    • MCSE or MCSA
    • A+/Net+ (or equivalent certification or experience)
    • CCNA (or equivalent IP networking certification or experience)

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
