Role: Sales Director

Company Background
At TemperPack, we protect food, medicine, and Earth. We’ve found a niche in developing sustainable thermal packaging solutions for clients shipping perishable goods like food and medicine. We focus on understanding the logistical headaches and consumer pain points of delivering and receiving perishable goods. We combine our expertise in Packaging Design, Material Science, and Custom Manufacturing to
build products that perform well but are more environmentally friendly.
Role Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for cultivating new relationships, strengthening existing relationships, and growing market share. You will be responsible for partnering with Senior Leadership to develop a sales plan, delivering on the plan, and building a sustainable and profitable book of business.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous, strong experience in cold chain packaging sales. This position plays an integral role in the marketing, branding, and overall growth of TemperPack. You will be responsible for representing the company in accordance with our core values.
Responsibilities
• Build, deliver and follow a tactical plan for developing a new, sustainable and profitable book of business within the pharmaceutical/biotech industries/food industries.
• Deliver and exceed on expressed deliverables.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of all company product offerings, market conditions, competitor, and client needs.
• Represent the company at relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
• Network to acquire an exceptional knowledge of customers within the market extending to key decision makers and influencers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ systems and processes; through cultivating strong relationships, with intense discussions about the customer’s requirements, potential solutions and accurately documenting findings.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to assist in realization of new and innovative products/services in key and target markets
• Follow and interpret competitive information in the field to develop action plans.

MUST HAVES:
• 4-year degree, technical degree a plus.
• 3+ years of highly successful related sales experience with documented success in building new business.
• Experience calling on decision-makers in life sciences, food, and related industries.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Independent, precise, and highly reliable and ethical,
• Willing to travel extensively
• Strong customer orientation
• Analytical and solution oriented
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
