Company Background
At TemperPack, we’ve found a niche in developing thermal packaging solutions for clients shipping perishable goods. We focus on understanding the logistical headaches and consumer pain points of delivering and receiving perishable goods. We combine our expertise in Packaging Design, Material Science, and Custom Manufacturing to build products that perform well but are more environmentally friendly.

Role Summary
TemperPack’s Quality Manager will develop, implement, and enforce cGMP protocols, SOP’s including, but not limited to, those stipulated under our Quality Management System, as well as those stipulated in customer agreements. The incumbent will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that TemperPack meets the high standards of our life science customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage day to activities of all QA inspections and product releases
• Follow SOP’s to comply with Qualification processes in Manufacturing and Lab
• Train and communicate internal stakeholders the potential impact of QA activities
• Match Lot Traceability, Batch records, and Certificate of Compliance process in compliance with cGMP’s
• Audit daily inspection process
• Direct investigations into all non-conformance, complaints, and internal findings. Ensure corrective/preventative actions are complete and validates as effective
• Manage and communicate QA Key Process Indicators to ensure perfect service to our customers and internal stakeholders
• Lead initiatives to improve effectiveness, productivity, and compliance across departments
Qualifications
• Four-year College Degree required. Preference for Business Management, Packaging Engineering, Engineering, and Science Fields
• Experience with ISO9001:2015
• Experience with QMS
• 2 plus years in a Quality-related role in the Life Sciences sector
• 2 plus years of leadership/management experience
• Experience in manufacturing strong preferred
• Strong Attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
• Ability to develop processes/specifications from conception to implementation
