TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada.  We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products.  The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers.  Our aspiration is to provide packaging solutions that customers and end-consumers feel great about using.

TemperPack’s Office Manager will manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the company’s Richmond, VA offices and will provide high-level administrative support to the human resources and executive teams.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including purchasing, organization, drafting letters, memos, vendor relationships, and other duties for TemperPack’s Executive team and/or other assigned leadership staff
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for interviews, seminars, meetings, etc.
  • Schedules important meetings with board members, executive, and senior leadership teams
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and basic organization of common work areas
  • Assists with onboarding/employee engagement efforts to provide optimal experience for new salaried employees
  • Sorts and distributes company mail to relevant parties
  • Provides administrative support remotely to other TemperPack facilities
  • Manages work duties of part-time corporate associate
  • Other duties as necessitated by the business

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • At least four years of related experience required

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
