TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers. Description:
TemperPack’s Office Manager will manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the company’s Richmond, VA offices and will provide high-level administrative support to the human resources and executive teams.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks including purchasing, organization, drafting letters, memos, vendor relationships, and other duties for TemperPack’s Executive team and/or other assigned leadership staff
- Arranges travel and accommodations for interviews, seminars, meetings, etc.
- Schedules important meetings with board members, executive, and senior leadership teams
- Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and basic organization of common work areas
- Assists with onboarding/employee engagement efforts to provide optimal experience for new salaried employees
- Sorts and distributes company mail to relevant parties
- Provides administrative support remotely to other TemperPack facilities
- Manages work duties of part-time corporate associate
- Other duties as necessitated by the business
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function well in a fast–paced environment
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- At least four years of related experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
