We are seeking a Material Handler who will work in our encapsulation production area while adhering to proper safety rules and regulations. Part of the responsibility of this role is operating a slitting machine and cutting rolls of paper using a chop saw. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is based in Richmond, VA. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience level.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow all standard operating processes and safety procedures/policies
  • Forms cartons and applies proper box label and stacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly
  • Operating a chop saw in order to cut paper rolls for productions
  • Operating a slitter to cut ClimaCell panels into smaller sizes
  • Paper roll changes – Keep track of paper material at each line and change rolls as needed.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Housekeeping – Keep box staging area clean and clear of excess materials and trash. Forklift lanes should clear of obstructions. Participate in cleaning and organization when line is not running.
  • Trash – Trash should be taken off the line and out of your area as efficiently as possible.


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience
  • Will need to pass a drug test in order to operate equipment
