TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers. Job Description:

Join a company that knows the value of its employees and works with you to develop your career. We are currently seeking an Inventory Clerk at our Richmond, VA location. As a TemperPack Inventory Clerk you will collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to actively manage our inventory utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy in both location and count. You will collaborate with other departments as needed to gain safe access to products. You will work as part of the team to determine the best possible way to count the inventories, streamline product movements, ensure virtual-to-physical inventory accuracy, and organize physical storage. You will observe and adhere to safety regulations in all activities throughout a high-paced manufacturing facility.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in counting physical inventory and conduct cycle counts
  • Use handheld WMS RF scanning devices and desktop electronic equipment to maintain and adjust inventories as required
  • Responsible for quality control of goods received and managed in our warehouses
  • Able to follow processes, recommend revisions, and develop processes
  • Ensure secure and organized inventories of various product types
  • Assist in unloading trucks, checking in product, making goods receipts, product put-away – as needed.
  • Other duties as necessitated by the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Requires 2 years verifiable experience in Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control
  • Strong math / numerical aptitude
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude, creativity, and problemsolving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm M-F, occasional weekend days for inventory/special projects

Education and Certifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Be on your feet for 8-10 hours
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
  • Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
