TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers. Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes in our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This role will support efforts in recruiting, onboarding, record-keeping, data entry, and file maintenance. The Human Resources Coordinator will be instrumental in resolving complex human resources issues and providing superior support to individuals and processes both internally and externally.
Essential Job Functions:
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for open positions
- Assist with the full recruiting life cycle to help find, hire, and retain quality talent
- Assist with creating and updating job descriptions for open positions
- Support with pre-boarding and onboarding duties
- Form relationships with TemperPack management team to understand hiring needs and job specifications
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to aid employees on questions pertaining to benefit enrollment, administration, status changes, and other general inquiries
- Learn and effectively communicate TemperPack policies to company employees
- Upload important documents and files to internal company systems
- Travel to other TemperPack facilities or external venues as needed
- Other duties as necessitated by the business
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3 years HR or equivalent experience, in a manufacturing company preferred
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
