Supervisor’s Title:Maintenance Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt


We are seeking Custodians to assist in the cleaning and maintaining of our manufacturing facility. The custodian will maintain standards of cleanliness in accordance with operating procedures, adhere to TemperPack policies and guidelines, and follow OSHA standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Cleans assigned areas as directed and follows operating procedures
  • Participates in collection and proper disposal of waste and recycling
  • Responsible for the care and upkeep of resources provided to them
  • Responds and assists with any custodial related requests as directed
  • Sanitizes and cleans work areas, common areas, and grounds
  • Other duties as necessitated by the business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience working in a team setting and independently
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing facility a plus

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Be on your feet for 8-12 hours
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
  • Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
